Service Permit Policy
Service Permits provide the user access to the service/maintenance parking spaces across campus for up to 90 minutes. Parking in these spaces requires that the service permit placard be visibly present in the front window of the vehicle’s dashboard at all times while parked. A vehicle will be subject to citation in the event the vehicle is parked without the service permit placard visibly present or parking for longer than 90 minutes.
To enforce the 90 minute window, ParkEMU will digitally “mark” the vehicle’s tires within their system, at which time the 90 minute window will begin. A vehicle will be subject to citation if the vehicle is present in the same location after the 90 minute window has expired.
The Service Permit placard does not provide the user access to any other lots on campus.
The Service Permit does not provide the user access to any metered parking spaces on campus.
The Service Permit does not provide the user access to any handicap parking spaces on campus.
The Service Permit does not provide the user access to parking in any space or area not designated for service/maintenance parking (e.g., curbside, circle driveways, sidewalks, green space, driveways, storage space, etc.).
