License Plate Policy
In situations where a vehicle parked on EMU's campus has multiple plates on the same vehicle ParkEMU will consider the official license plate on the back of the vehicle as the only valid plate for the permit.
- Examples of this:
- A permanent plate and a temporary plate.
- A vanity plate on the front of the car and a permanent plate at the back.
- A plate in the back windshield and a permanent plate.
A permit holder may have up to two license plates registered to each permit. Only one license plate associated with the permit may be on campus at one time, or both plates are subject to receive citation. Only plates of vehicles utilized by the permit holder may be registered to the permit. Permits can not be shared.
